Terms and Conditions

These terms set out the basis upon which I work with my clients. If you have any questions, please ask me.

1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between MFP Personal Training ("the Trainer") and you ("the Client"). By booking or participating in sessions, you agree to these terms.

2. Health & Fitness Responsibility

  • You confirm that you are physically able to take part in exercise.

  • You must inform the Trainer of:

    • any medical conditions,

    • injuries

    • changes in health.

  • If unsure, you should consult your GP before starting training.

⚠️ Training is undertaken at your own risk, and you must follow all guidance provided.

3. Personal Training Services

MFP Personal Training may include:

  • 1:1 personal training sessions

  • Group sessions

  • Fitness programming

  • Nutritional guidance (non-medical)

​Programmes are tailored but results are not guaranteed and depend on your consistency and effort.

4. Booking & Payment

  • Sessions must be paid for in advance

  • Payment plans (if offered) must be adhered to

  • Prices are subject to change, with prior notice given

Late or missed payments may result in:

  • Suspension of sessions

  • Cancellation of agreed packages

5. Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations

  • Minimum 24 hours’ notice required to cancel or reschedule

  • Less than 24 hours = session charged in full

  • No-shows = session forfeited

Trainer Cancellations

  • If the Trainer needs to cancel, as much notice as possible will be given

  • Sessions will be rescheduled or refunded

6. Session Validity

  • Session packages must be used within a specified period (e.g. 6–12 weeks depending on package)

  • Expired sessions cannot be refunded or extended, unless agreed in exceptional circumstances

7. Late Arrivals

  • If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time

  • Full session fee still applies

8. Refund Policy

  • Payments are generally non-refundable

  • Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances at the Trainer’s discretion

9. Liability & Risk

  • All exercise carries inherent risks including injury, illness, or accident

  • By participating, you:

    • Accept full responsibility for your health

    • Agree that MFP Personal Training is not liable for injuries, except where caused by negligence

MFP Personal Training is not responsible for:

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Injuries sustained outside supervised sessions (e.g. when following programmes independently)

10. Client Conduct

Clients are expected to:

  • Act respectfully and follow instructions

  • Train safely and responsibly

  • Not attend sessions under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Failure to comply may result in termination of services without refund.

11. Photography & Social Media

  • Photos/videos may be used for marketing only with your consent

  • You may withdraw consent at any time

12. Confidentiality

All personal information and health data will be treated confidentially and handled in line with UK data protection laws.

13. Termination

MFP Personal Training reserves the right to terminate services if:

  • Terms are breached

  • Behaviour is inappropriate

  • Health/safety concerns arise

14. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
